Theatre – Beautifully restored 1922 theatre shows classic
movies with entertainment before each movie. 57 N. Main St.,
Franklin (one block north of the courthouse)
Franklin
College - A private, four-year liberal arts institution founded
in 1834. The streetlights on campus are the original lights from
the town square. (East of downtown on SR 44/Jefferson.)
Johnson County Courthouse (built 1879-1881) – Beautiful
architecture, especially on the inside. (Downtown on SR 44/Jefferson
St.)

County Museum of History - Over 20,000 objects, photographs & documents
from past and present. 135 N. Main St., Franklin. (Two blocks

Journey
Church Office & Conference Center – Decorated in
the 50’s by the owners of the Artcraft Theatre, it features
a lobby area with old movie star photos and a conference room
designed to look like you’re in a Chicago skyscraper.
